Could anyone tell me what the ramasst executable is, and
does it need to be in my startup dir?
Much Thanks,
b.

Bucky,

The "text book" definition for RAMASST is: To fix the problem that the
message is shown when USB-FDD is plugged in case "CD recording" is
enabled.

I am not sure if you can remove it or not but I would try it and if a
problem arises with your USB port (I think that will only happen if
you plug in a USB DVD-R Drive) then you can always add it to the
startup folder again.

I have one such, and it is the DVD-RAM driver for my new LG
multiformat writer. Now don't ask me why a driver is started from the
Windows startup group...
