In my start up folder (in "Start" "All Programs") I have an item called
RAMAAST.

Its a shortcut which goes to C:\WINDOWS\system32\RAMASST.exe

The decription is "CD Burning of Windows XP disabling tool for DVD MULTI
Drive"

Do I need to keep this in my Startup folder.

Thank you jack. I did a google search before submitting this question. Now
not being as computer literate as you , "Do I need to keep this in my
startup folder?
 
Hi Adam,

You can disable it using Start > Run > msconfig.

Also move the shortcut to another folder, if your system works fine
for a few days, then you'll know you don't need it.
