I have a fairly old PC, and I remeber reading that my pc
could only be upgraded from 64MB RAM to 300 something. If
there are three slots for RAM in my PC, does that mean I
could put 3 pieces of 512MB inside, or can my PC really
be restricted to 300 some MB of RAM.Any help would be
appreicated. Thanks.

No, your motherboard is limited to the amount of RAM
it was designed to support. If you go beyond this limit,
your system will not recognize nor be able to use it.

You might go to the www.crucial.com website and see
what their memory configurer says. I have found it to be
very reliable.
