This may not fit into this group but I have no idea where else to ask the
question. I recently upgraded my RAM from 384 MB to 1 GB. I have added no
new programs since the upgrade. However, my System Summary in System
Information shows my total Physical Memory as 1,024 MB but available Physical
Memory at 580 MB. Since nothing was added since the upgrade, why is the
computer now using more RAM at idle than it had two weeks ago? If possible,
