Problem with 6 GB RAM in windows 2000 advanced server , It
is compaq ML 370 G3 which can support up to 12 Gb RAM , in
BIOS it is detecting 6 Gb RAM but in windows properties
and sytem information it is showing only 3.8 GB RAM ,
please help me if anybody can find a solution for this
problem

Zubair,

First make sure you have the /PAE switch in the Boot.ini on the line you use to start the system.

The other think to keep in mind is that Compaq reserves physical RAM for the PCI slots in the system. You can find more
