System Info show Running 265 meg physical RAM, after
initial boot / log-in, physical RAM available = only ~75
meg, even this value varies from boot to boot. Questions:
What is ideal physical RAM? Product box indicate 128 meg
reccomemded, which appears to be incorrect.
Is there a way to make more physical RAM available?

Regards:

You were probably looking at the "minimum requirements" for XP.
256MB is "OK", but 512MB is better.

This is based on something?? You want to run Excel with 1 GB????????
This just doesn't make sense. 512MB is more than enough for normal use.

I must be in really bad shape. I only have 256 MB on two systems and I video
edit, encode and develop software. One of them is a Media Center Edition.
