I am having A problem with a pentium III 450 installing
XP pro and going from
64ram to a second 64 to make 128 ram the bios is
picking it up fine but
then a blue screen appears telling me it stopped the system to prevent
any damage to my computer. It also tells me to remove any new hardware I
installed and other blabla.
I did ecventually get the Xp installed and it
now happens happens at different points during operation
(the same error)
Without warning the pc then reboots and starts again.
and the machine scandisks and returns to the start
desktop

Yes we heard you the first time. Posting again half-an-hour later isn't
going to get you helped any faster - quite the opposite - people are just
going to think you need to learn some patience!

Sounds like you have a bad stick of memory or the 2nd
stick is mismatched to the first stick. If your computer
runs fine with just one or the other stick installed but
not both it's missmatch. If one of the two causes the
same failure running solo you have a bad stick. Good
luck.

Sounds to me like you might have a defective blabla.
