RAM timings

I've noticed that people usually refer to RAM timings in a series of four
numbers; e.g., 2-3-2-5 or 2-7-2-2. Is there a convention for the specific
order that these timings are listed? If so, what is it?

If you look in the bios setup for ram you will see the following
CAS latency -
RAS to CAS delay
RAS precharge time
SDRAM Cycle time
These are the numbers that are being referred to. Their will probably be a
basic explanation of each value in your
mobo manual under bios settings
If you want more info on the specifics then do a quick google search or
check out some of the sites
listed at www.hardwarehell.com, which is an excellent reference site, even
though the girl believes NASCAR
is somehow better than F1.
