RAM question

If i put in 1gb pc3200 400mhz, 2.6v RAM in slot 1 does slot 2 need to be same spec i.e. pc 3200, 2.6v or can you put in any so long it is 184 pin ddr 2 ?

If your board takes DDR2 then you can put faster and slower ram in different slots , but they will only work at the slowest speed .

Abarbarian is correct, but, make sure your MB can use the correct ram ...

Nearly correct DDR2 is 240 pin and the original question was about DDR which is 184 pin . The info I gave holds up for both types though .
