Hi-

Running A7N266VM mobo with Athlon 2200+ proc and 2 - 256MB sticks of 2100 DDR. System bogs down quickly under a usually undemanding load. Checked Task Manager (XP Pro) and see nothing major running in background. Device Manager shows NVIDIA nForce 220/230 Memory Controller (DDR) once and NVIDIA nForce 220/230/415/420/430 Memory Controller twice. No drivers are installed. I've tried to update drivers and un-install and re-install, but they don't take. Any suggestions?

Thanks, heymikey

If no drivers are installed, then why does it say NVIDIA nForce 220/230 Memory Controller (DDR) once and NVIDIA nForce 220/230/415/420/430 Memory Controller twice.

Looks like they are installed to me.

You need to Ctrl+Alt+Delete when it's bogging down and see what is running, how much memory and processor slice it is using.

"Flamebot"-

Opening "Properties" for any of these controllers, and looking in "Device Status" shows "No drivers installed for this device". Repeated attempts to install latest drivers from Asus or nVidia sites have failed. Anything else?
