Can someone help me to check if my 256 MB of ram is all
used for programs?

I copied this from MS website:To ensure that all of your
computer's RAM is available for use by the operating
system and software programs, make sure that you are not
using any of your RAM for a RAM drive.

I would like to know how to make sure my computer is not
using ram for a ram drive???

By the way , some programs end up using 99 percent of my
cpu resources???

Add more resources, or don't use those programs.

As computers get faster, developers add more bells and whistles to the
programs, taking more resources.
In XP "My Cpmputer" > Properties and look at the preformance tab. the
optmize for performance.

All the 3d title bars etc. take resources.

256 mb is pretty minimal for any sort of decent performance with
Windows XP, especially if you are running any major application
programs.

You should seriously consider upgrading to at least 384 or 512 mb.

Good luck
