Can anyone tell me how to solve the following? Trying to
host games of Rainbow 6 via the web. I'm running WXP and
have Norton Internet Security. I can join games but
cannot host one, it just won't let anyone joing MY games
but I have no trouble joing theirs!!

Any help much appreciated.

Internet Security has a firewall. You will need to open the incoming IP
ports that the game requires. All IP traffic going out automatically gets
the correct outgoing IP ports opened.

Hi Sundance608,

Check your Norton's Program Permissions list and ensure
that the game is configured to allow it "Server" privileges.
There's a distinct difference between "Client" and "Severs"
security permissions as a defence against Trojans. d:^)
