Raid Prompt During Startup

My motherboard (ABIT NF7-S) has serial ATA raid. I kinda
know what raid is but had no intention of using it.
However when my comp starts up I get a prompt screen to
set up raid, think it says press F2 now or summat. Since I
don't want to set it up and even if I try nothing happens
I would like to stop this prompt screen from appearing
since it increases my comps start up time waiting for the
message to time out.

Any help will be great

Hi Gary -

In your BIOS, in the Integrated Peripherals menu, select Onboard PCI Device
(don't confuse this with OnChip PCI Device, the entry immediately above).
On the Onboard PCI Device, set Serial ATA Controller to Disabled. This will
eliminate the RAID prompt at startup.

The above is illustrated on page 4-19 of your motherboard manual.

Press DEL when you first start up your computer (BEFORE Windows starts to
boot) to enter the BIOS setup screens.
