hi all, fitted 2 formatted Seagate 80gig HD and se the jumper to 1/2 for
raid. The fastBuild Utility builds the array but when loading WinXP pro I
press F6 when prompted but windows carries on to fail to find the drive at
the end.
tried all things even to use win98 start up disk to Fdisk the array but sill
fails to see the drive.

any ideas?

What keyboard are you using?.
I have seen this, using a USB keyboard, where despite having the BIOS
emulation enabled, the XP installer, doesn't 'see' the F6 keystroke, so
doesn't ask for the driver....

Best Wishes

You MUST load the winXP RAID drivers when you install XP. I copied the
drivers to a floppy and pressed F6 during the install. It asked for the
floppy a couple of times during install. You cannot fdisk or anything
like that with the RAID array.
