My device manager tells me I need to install the Raid controller. What is
it for and how do I find out where to go to get it? Thank You.

If you had RAID , you'd know it.

Since I assume you are not using a RAID array, the fact that you do not have
the drivers for it
is something you can safely ignore...
but if you want to install the drivers, that's fine...
they'd be on the cd that came with your motherboard
