Raid controller advise sought

Would like to go to raid 1 with 2 ide drives. Like your advise on a good
controller. TIA

My Adaptec PCI controler card retails at $380 - how does that grab you?

Try going to:http://www.wdc.com (western digital),thier downloads/software
link to one of thier sub companies,they make IDE RAID controllers for under
75.00
(cant remember name),but they make descent controllers.

I have used Promise Technology Raid controllers for years without any
problem other than one of the drives died of old age. Check this web site
for specifics on their newest IDE controller for ATA 133 drives
