I have a Dell 745N storage device in which one of the raided volumes
failed due to a hdd failure. The hdd was replaced and the raid rebuilt
itself (hardware raid), but some smart guy went into the controller
setup and re-initialized the volume. What I suspect happened was that
the controller deleted the raid information from the volumes, so win is
now seeing that volume as a foreign dynamic disk, but unable to import
it due to the loss of the configuration copies.
Below is the corresponding entry in the event log:
"INTERNAL Error - The disk group contains no valid configuration copies
(C10000B6)."
Any help is greatly appreciated,
