RAID 0 Question on WinXP Pro

This is my 1st shot at SATA RAID 0. Everything appears to be working
fine. I'm curious though because in 'Disk Management' I see the 2
drives under the same drive letter as planned. When I go into 'My
Computer' I see the Stripe set but I also see 2 additional drives with
RAW file systems. If I try to explore the 2 drives it says that they
are not formatted. I am not going to format because I believe that this
is just the system displaying the drives for what ever reason. Is this
the normal way for a striped system to appear? Reason I ask is because
I have another pc with the same MB and it has a RAID 1 mirror set.
Using the same views as above, I never see the 2 additional drives. I
see the mirror only, in Management and My computer.

I don't know this, but you can try to remove the drive letter association
to those disks. This may be the reason why they show up in the first place.
If they have no drive letter associated, they won't show up in Explorer.
