I have been running a 0 + 1 (2 drives striped and 2
mirrored) setup on my server (Win98) for a couple of
years. I just converted to Win 2000 server, and it won't
take. The knowledge base tells me that Win2000 server
only supports Raids 0 or 1 or 5. Is there a workaround?
I have a Fast trak100 TX4.

No particular reason for it not to work as long as you have the
Promise drivers loaded.

Windows 2000 has support for software RAID, but if you're using
hardware RAID the controller should make physical disk configuration
transparent to the OS; it should just see it as a single drive.

Correct, if the hardware is controlling the config, then the controller will
show us only the buckets that it has defined in it. What do you see
currently?
