Rage 128 problem

I recently got a used ATI Rage Fury 128 32mb card. The card worked great for
about 4 hours. I was in the middle of a software install and the computer
froze up on me. I turned it off, and upon re-boot...the display was all
garbled. I tried it in another computer and got the same problem, garbled
display....just a bunch of colored blocks all over the screen.

Any ideas why this would happen? I'm guessing the card is toast?

If same problem on two systems then had to be card.

Thats what I figured, but I'd thought I'd ask anyhoo. Got a new Radeon 7000
on the way to replace it.
