I am one of some or many who have ATI cards and recieve the code 37/43 error
in the device setting. The only drivers that i have gotten to work, that
dosent blue screen when shutting down or booting up, is the throwback,
orginal, historic drivers that came with the card... form off the cd that
came with the card. With the OEM drivers (if they can be called that) vista
works and it does detect my card and identifies it. I was able to boost my
score by nothing. it did although raise my graphics score by a whole .9 .
Installing any driver other than these always results in a blue screen when
shutting down or booting up (xp drivers) or code 37/43 (vista drivers) all
drivers used were of the ATI brand. Just thought i mention that if anyone
else was still having problems and just wanted the OS to see the card and
know its a 3D card.
