I have a PC Chips M848A motherboard and an AGP Radeon X850 video card.
I set up my machine as a dual boot with Vista RC2 but cannot get the
video card drivers to install. I have let Windows download and
install it's own and I have tried downloading the driver from ATI's
website for Vista (they are labled RC1 but I don't know if that really
matters). Anyway, Windows disbables the video card and keeps flashing
a message off of a yellow triangle icon on the tray that it has been
disabled because it is not compatible with the VGA adaptor. Since
this happens with with Micorsoft and ATI's driver, I think the problem
may be with the driver for the AGP port itself. Anyone run into
anything similar?
Thanks.
