Hi

does the RADEON X800XL have an extra power plugin?
I thought, the PCIe version doesn t need extra power.
I ordered a Club3d X800XL and many people say that it needs extra power.

If you check some of the newer PSu's coming out like the thermaltake 700W
monster you will note that they contain PCI-Xpress power connectors (as well
as the standard 4-pin molex). So I would say that they do need power.
Easiest thing would be to download and check the manual for the card you
have ordered.
