Hi,

I seem to be experiencing problems with my video card. I have a AMD
Athlon 64 duel core system running Windows XP Pro, the problems vary:

System Hangs
Screen goes blank
System restarts periodically
Screen Freezes

Any ideas or advice would be welcome.

I've downloaded the latest drivers from the website but that doesn't
seem to have improved things.

Thanks

Other things can cause your problem - bad memory, cpu overheating, ect.

Agreed but I'd start with the power supply. Especially if this started with
installing a more powerful video card. Need more info to guess further. What
happened before this started?Do the problems start right away or after it's
been on a while, etc? Do you smell anything(seriuosly)?

More powerful than what, integrated? An x300se is not going to cause
power problems. To the OP: Did you uninstall the previous version of
drivers before you installed the latest from the web site? You always
need to uninstall before you install new. What else has changed on your
system recently? Have you checked event viewer to see if Windows is
telling you what's wrong?
