Radeon X1300 with latest Catalyst Drivers is Only Pulling in a 2.8??? Is that
all the better Im Going to get with this card??? 256 MB DDR2 Dedicated
graphics memory

2.8 does seem low. For comparison, I have the x1300 card and get a score of 4.2. I'm
using a Dell Dimension 9200 1.6 Ghz core duo with 2 Gigs of Ram.

I have an Acer E380 Desktop With:
AMD Athlon64X2 Dual-Core 2.5GHZ rated at 7.2GHZ 5.1
4Gb of DDR2 5300 Ram 5.2
Radeon PCI X1300 2.8 Aero
3.4 Graphics
400GB Sata 7200 rpm 5.8
These Ratings just don't seem right??
4gb of ram = a 5.2???
400GB HD = 5.8 ???
Processor = a 5.1???
And the Graphics????
I seen people with lower spec pulling in a base score of at least 4.5 with
graphics
and 5.9 on every thing else!!!
Im not really complaing but i know vista adjust the performance to the index
score.
And its depressing to have fairly good hardware with a mediocre score.
And yes i have update to the latset version of everything and tried
everything but I fear it is ACER's mobo which is i think a nforce-4
 
The graphics scores are heavily dependent on the driver. The other scores
look about right. These scores can also be affected by the chipset drivers
or anything else that can be a bottleneck.
