VR Zone have got hold of some AMD/ATI HD 3850 benchmarks, a card which is due to sell for less than $200 (~£100). These are internal benchmarks, so it may be wise to interpret them with some caution - however it may be worth a closer look once released.
Comparisons are made against the older 2600XT and the GeForce 8600GTS in a variety of DX10 games (like BioShock, CoH, Crysis SP Demo, etc...) and 3D Mark 06.
This card is aimed at competing with the 8600GTS, and the HD 3870 will compete with the 8800GT. Details on this more powerful card have not yet been released.
