Does anyone have any decent performance out of a 9800 Pro running under
Linux? I have a Crucial card running under Fedora Core 2 and the 3D
performance just sucks.

Anyone found a solution to this?

Yep. Sadly the solution is to buy a nVIDIA card. ATi and Linux just
sucks. Unfortunately I didn't find out until AFTER I'd got a 9800 AIW.

Hmm. Well, that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Looks like I'm sticking
with my dual boot XP/FC2 setup then...

Cheers

What kind of figures are you getting from running 'glxgears' from a
terminal? You should be starting about 4000fps and peaking a fair bit
higher...as long as you have installed the 3D drivers from ATI's site.
