Is there any way, or is there a program out there to disable anti
aliasing and AF completely? I'm not sure why ATI didn't put that
option in but it's a pain when you're forced to run it by
application. Thanks for any info...

That does disable it, but if a game has it's own settings to choose AA or AF
then you can enable/disable it in the game.

Ahh thanks. Do you know if BF1942 has AA on all the time? I
can't get it to run well on 1600x1200x16, but with other games I
have no problem at that res.

Nope, BF1942 doesnt have AA on all the time! Though with the quality of
some of the testures I wouldnt put put money on it not having AF on all the
time. I cant understand though how if other games work for you at 1600 x
1200 x 16 BF1942 doesnt run well, I've allways found it to be one of the
best performing games set in an outside environment.

What I have a problem with is when there's a lot of activity -
explosions all around, etc. That and loading parts of the map.
For instance, if I fly a plane from one end of the map to the
other, the textures sometimes reload and the game skips. I have
a Hercules 3d Prophet 9800 pro 128, 512 ram, Pentium 4 1.9, I
always use enditall and close every unnecessary program, and all
of my settings are on best performance. I don't know what the
deal is.

Use medium textures.
