Radeon 9700 Black & White TV Out

Hey folks, I'm hoping to get some help.

I recently purchased a Radeon 9700 from the secondary market. The card
renders my flat panel monitor beautifully, but only sends a black &
white signal on the TV out. I'm using an S-Video to composite adapter.
It worked with my old rig, so I'm skeptical that it could be a cabling
issue. Nonetheless, I've ordered a longer S-Video cable, just in case.

While I'm waiting for the new cable to arrive, can anyone make any
suggestions? ATI's site mentions this as an issue with PAL, but I'm
using a brand new, NTSC M, Sony WEGA.

Seems the TV is set to S-Video,but getting a composite signal.(Cable or driver
setting issue)

I too had a similar expirence. My tv-out worked fine, until i got a radeon
(before i had geforce).

For it to work you need a special cable - a colorfix cable. Here is a link
