Hey all,

Does anyone have any links to help me tell the diff between the 9600SE
and 9600 cards from site? Want to make sure I don't get conned. I
assume due to the diff memory bus size, there is probably diff
arrangement of RAM, as was with the 9500, certain versions of the
9800SE 'line' etc.

ATI 9600,GPU 400mhz, memory 128 bit wide path (300-325mhz DDR) ?

ATI 9600 GPU 325mhz, memory 64 bit wide path (200mhz DDR)

Er... I knew that. I was thinking about any visible physical
difference that could be used to differentiate the cards on
inspection.

But thanks anyway

FYI the fastest my ATI 9600 will stably overclock is

450 // 247.5 (x 2)

stock(fanless) cooling

Half of the memory chip places are empty, leaving half of the 128bit
memory bus unused. SE version also does not have cooling fan, only
heatsink. Standard 9600 cards may or may not have a fan, Pro models
always have a fan...

How do you adjust the clock speed?

Thanks!

Using the Omega driver package.
There's a tab in advance properties.
