Okay. I know 3DMark2000 is old but my new ATI Radeon 9600XT seems to
have a minor rendering issue in 3DMark2000.

When I run 3DMark2000 in the demo loop, the rendering of the "liquid
ball" in the stonehenge scene is very weird. The ball starts out with
some ripple surface that ripples really face but the rippling effect
eventually turned into moving spikes that grow longer and longer.

Similarly, the ripple effect shown in the pool scene inside a building
also turned into fast moving spikes.

Has anyone seem the above anomaly I described in 3DMark2000?

Thanks.

Wasn't 3DMark2000 pure DX6... hell download Final Reality then you can
benchmark your card on DX5 :-)

Really those old benchmarks don't really count anymore,.... aslong as
games go right dont mind it!
