Radeon 9250

Using radeon 9250 graphics card in older agp4 motherboard slot and cannot
get aero to work. Also have very low performance rating of 1. Was wondering
if I need a agp 8 slot
in order for it to work. Does anyone have aero working on a agp 4 slot?
