just got an ati radeon 9200 pci card and heres the
situation:

i uninstalled all my previous display drivers. shut down.
took out old card. put in new 9200.

on boot NOTHING happens on my monitor.

i am trying to find if maybe its a power supply issue but
my old pci card worked fine.

yes, it works. i have done some research and others have
had similar problems (with various cards from various
vendors.) it might be a bios or motherboard conflict. i
am going to call ati tech support tomorrow morning. i
will post any info i get... Maybe it will help somebody
else.

You need to have rolled back to standard VGA drivers.

Have you tried pressing enter several times, it is possible
that there is a message to ask, is it OK to install drivers,
but you have no video to see it.

Ryan;

If your motherboard has an AGP slot, you need to go into your BIOS and
change the setting so that your PCI slot becomes your primary graphics slot,
not the AGP. The exact method to do this varies by motherboard, so check
the docs that came with your computer to find out how to access the BIOS.
