Radeon 9200 always crashes when playing 3d games

I have a relatively new computer system and whenever I play 3d games (Halo,
etc) my computer crashes or freezes and I have to reboot. Usually there is
no error message but when I get one it points to the video card.

I have:
Albatron 865PE Pro w/ Pentium 4 2.4Mhz
512MB 3200 RAM
On board sound (realtek)
Latest drivers for everything (3.8 Cat)

I have fast writes turned off. I dont know what to do. I am almost ready to
go back to nVidia.
