Chris

I have just installed Win XP Pro, everything else on my
device list is running great but my video card.

It's a radeon 9000 pro, and it says that it does not have
enough resources to be used. It does list itself twice,
primary and secondary. The primary is the one with the
Code 12. I've downloaded updates, and let XP do it's
thing. Secondary is fine, no problems!

Biostar M7VIT Pro
AMD Athlon XP +1800
256 meg RAM
ATI RADEON 9000 Pro

PS There was an IRQ conflict, but was resolved when the
update for the 1.1 & 2.0 USB drivers were downloaded from
Microsoft.

So the card is working but showing up twice in device manager? If so, try
just uninstalling it. Maybe you got a ghosted device during the
installation of the device and thats why its showing a bang.

Hi,

Try this way:
First, change the display to VGA mode and reboot to safe
mode. Then go the device manager and remove the two ATI
display adpater and reboot to normal mode, let windows
search and install the ATI drivers. If find new hardware
wizard not open after the reboot, go to control panel and
click the add new hardware wizard and let windows search
and install the drivers.

Hope it helps.

Peter
