I'm using a Radeon 7500 video card in my Micron PIII 800 mhz PC. My OS
is Windows XP. I get absolutely no choice for power management, i.e.
no choice for sleep, hibernate, nothing. I'm using the latest ATI
drivers released Jan '04. I've done my homework and I'm positive that
the video card is the culprit. My question is how do I get XP to
readress power management because I should at the least be able to put
the PC in sleep mode although hibernate would be the ideal setting.
What can I do to correct this annoying problem. Any thoughts you have
on this would be appreciated.

Have you done your set up through Power Option in the control panel?
If your motherboard is green, it should give you the options to do
various power conversations.

Yes I did setup using Control Panel. Last night I found out that the
PC can hibernate and standby only after rebooting, that is before
anyone logs on. Once someone logs on there is no choice for either.
Strange huh?
