We have narrowed our search down to a Dell Poweredge 1750 vs. a HP Proliant
DL360.

Price and features are virtually identical.

Any thoughts on which would provide better reliability?

It will be running 24/7 as a web server, processing thousands of
database-intensive transactions per hour.

I don't know about the Dell, but we have a Proliant server running an
Oracle data-server and file-server for our CAD files. It has run 24/7
for nearly a year now with no problems. And is it quick...
