Quicktime and Decompresser

hi i really need help.

my mother sent me my cv through our mac at home i can see everything but my photo? it says i need a quicktime and a decompressor? ive tried downloading the right things but i really dont no what it all means!! if anyone has any ideas that will be great thank u ellie shanahan

To enable others to help, do you know what format the CV is in? Is it a PDF and was the document also create on a Mac?
