Hi:

I have Downloaded the newest (that i know of) program of Quicktime
Alternitive. Installed it, adn ran it for a while. My ISP offers free Anti
Virus, and the program found something funny with QT alternitive. see the
Virus report below:

-C:\Program Files\QuickTime\Alternative\quicktime_browser_plugin.exe
File infected with "W32/Sdbot.GA" virus and was successfully deleted.

Anyone know any more on this? Was there a security hole on QT alt and a
virus got in the back door, or is this some spy thing programmed in on
purpose?

Thanks
-Larry B

Not at home right now, but I don't know if QT alternative makes any updates
to the 'real' quicktime files, I think it just updates the associations,
i.e., pointing .mov .mp4, etc files to itself. You may have gotten the virus
from somewhere else.
