Quicklaunch Toolbar

Does anyone know how to remove icons from the Quicklaunch
toolbar? It is quite easy to add them, and MS includes
multiple places to find out how to add, but deleting them
seems to be a different story.
 
I have always just right clicked on the icons and deleted if I didn't want
them. I may be misunderstanding exactly what you want to do, and if so I
apologize. It seems though that this is all you should need to do.

You should be able to just right-click on the icon you

want to remove and choose "delete". It will remove the
icon only, not the entire program.
