If you're not using the Silicon Image SATA controller, you can disable
that in the BIOS..

ok im not using that btw what is that .lol? and where in the bios do i turn
it off?

Not sure you should be doing anything in the bios really.
disable your extra drives in the bios, turn off the POST memory test,
Disable the Sata Controller (if possible, I thought it was board level via a
jumper).

That's the most you can really do. If you really want to speed up boot time
then U should dump your pata drive, and get 2 sata drives taht will run
together, and remove all unnecessary pci cards while also disabling all
onboard bit of crap that you dont use. Also having minmal programs on at
startup for windows-systems helps.

Depends on what "Splash Screens" you're seeing.. You can turn many of
those off by clicking on a little check box when it shows.. Other
programs have that setting in the Options or Setup properties..
