I installed W2k sucessfully + some features. Everything worked fast
and was steable. Then I decided to setup QuickCam 5.0 from the
official Logitech CD: here came the troubles. I was asked to prepare
the Windows CD because of missing stuff for Windows. That's what I did
and pressed the "CONTINUE" button but unfortunately this had no
effect... The setup was frozen and I finally had to switched my PC
Off.

When Windows 2000 restarted: everything got unsteable and very (very)
slow... The processor activity is said to work at 100% according to my
Task Manager. I can't connect to internet anymore ;-( I intended to
properly uninstall QuickCam software from Logitech but the "unist.isu"
file was said to be unusable. I unistall it myself but my OS is
unfortunately still "handicaped". Although the webcam is running fine
on Win98 ? What should I do to restore its initial performing
behaviour ? how to remove such a problem ?

Try to install the webcam again. If you can manage to get it completely
installed, then the uninstaller should work. Possibly you could get a new
copy of the software from
