I have a user on a 2K Server running TS in app mode with
Quickbooks installed. She can print out of everything
except quickbooks. She doesn't get an error it just
doesn't print. Anyone seen that before.

Thanks

I am having the same problem on a 2003 TS server. All
other apps work, but in Quickbooks her printer doesn't
even show up. She is running a full desktop and when she
goes to "Printers and Faxes" her redirected printer is
there. QuickBooks printing also works from an ICA client
(we have Citrix installed on this server), just not RDP.

Some can with different printers. The ones that can't
can be tricked into printing by selecting another printer
and then switching it back to the default and printing
again.

I am having the same problem. The problem seemed to have
arisen at the same time as a licensing issue I was
having. The client is running XP Pro with SP1 and was
receiving a temporary license from the TS License Server.
I have resolved the license issue but I the user is still
unable to print from Quickbooks. At one point a reboot on
the server corrected the problem until the user logged out
and back in. It Seems to be redirecting the printer to
the wrong TS port. I am hacking away at it and will let
you know if I discover anything.

I found a solution for my issue. Try it and see if it
works for you. Quickbooks cannot print to long printer
names. In TS your printer name is a combination of your
computer name and the printer name. If the combination of
your client computer name and your printer name exceed 20
characters, QuickBooks will be unable to print to that
printer. Try renaming the printer on the client computer
to a much shorter name and reconnect to TS to see if it
works. I think the limit is 20 Characters.
