Hi,
After each time I use my edition of QuickBooks 5.0, Antispyware says it
detects CommonName when it does its scan. I remove it, and it comes right
back when I use QuickBooks again. Is this a false detection? Or is
QuickBooks really insisting on installing CommonName?
Infected registry keys/values detected
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}\InprocServer32
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBObjProxy.dll
AntiSpyware used to classify this as a "Search Hijacker" but it's now
calling it a "Settings Modifier." I've never noticed any adverse behavior,
but then again, it's only on my system between the time I run QuickBooks and
the time Antispyware does its daily scan.
Thanks!
Joe
