I just updated from Quickbooks 2001 to 2004. When I tried to e-mail invoices I get an error that says internal error. Quickbooks has informed me that the problem is a pdf driver that cannot install on my system. I called gateway and the port I need was an LPT1 port which is enabled and available. I am thinking this is an XP problem. My husband has the same software on his computer on ME and it works fine.
Has anyone had this problem

Why would you need a printer port to email an invoice? Can you email the
invoices in the body of an email message or (less desirable) as an
attachment to the message? I assume you are trying to email from QuickBooks
itself?

The program has a pdf converter that works off a LPT1 driver. The file comes up in your printer file as an intuit internal printer. I went on intuit and someone else is having the same exact problem
Thanks for answering
