New system coming.
I'll be be upgrading from W98 to W XP Home.
QuickBasic (defunct Microsoft Product) environment allows
interpreted development and debug of programs. The
program will also produce compiled (*.exe) code. In
particular, I have a home accounting program tailored to
OUR way of managing our resources - Not Quicken's or
somebody else's.
Will the QuickBASIC environment itself and/or the *.exe's
produced by it run under W XP?
If so, how? Compatibility mode? Make the *.exe on an old
system and load it onto the new, run it there? References
to existing articles will be appreciated. Your 2 cents
worth e-mailed to me will also be very valuable.
Thanks,
Jim
