quick system restore question

What would be the lowest percentage you would recommend? I have it at 10%
right now. Could I go a bit lower? I do use restore quite a bit, in case
that matters.

Usually whatever percentage puts you at about one gigabyte or a little
larger.

Why do you 'use restore quite a bit'?
 
I u se it because I try a lot of programs and sometimes they mess the pc up
so I use restore. Just yesterday I did because I was uninstalling unused
drivers (an article in pc world) and it messed everything up, I had to use
restore but unfortunately whatever happened I had to activate windows again
so that meant I had to call them up to get the code. I had used all my
allowed seats so I had to get another one
