Quick Search Bar

A coworker got this Quick Search Bar malware on his home computer and wanted
to know how to remove it. I never heard of it before.
Does anyone here know about it and know how to remove it?

I'm not sure what Quick Search Bar you're talking about, but if
it's "Dave's Quick Search Bar" you're talking about, it's far
from malware and is a wonderful product that I highly recommend.

On the other hand, DQSD is not something you'd *get* without
actively choosing to install it.

I know that he said that one of his kids must have installed it but he does
not want it on the computer. Is there a way to remove it? he said there was
no removal in add/remove programs.

I'm still not sure if we're talking about the same program, but
if it is DQSD, I have an entry for it in Add/Remove programs
here.

And once again, if I were he, I would look into learning how to
use it, rather than removing it.
