Confused Man

Hello all,

I'm working on a spread sheet Where row 1 is all headings. (Company name,
state, tax bracket, etc...) How can I tell excel, to let just that row stay
locked, so that when I scroll down the heading row stays at the top of the
screen?

Thank you for your help,
Confused Man

Thanks Dave

Thats what I needed, but for some reason, when i would click on the 1 to
select the row, and then click freeze pane, it would freeze more than just
the selected row, is this something I'm doing wrong? is there a way to
correct it?

Thanks again,
Confused Man

Select the row immediately BELOW your heading row, then choose
Window>Freeze Panes.

(If you select row 1, it will freeze the rows in the top half of the
window.)

YES! thats it... thank you so much to everyone... I really appreciate it!
