Sam

If you have on licensing server on the DC and you have
clients connecting to another member server in the same
domain that is setup as a TS application server -- where
do you view the certificates that are being granted?

I can't see them anywhere for the users that are logging
into the TS on the member server?
Is something incorrectly configured?
Many thanks

Which OS are you running on the DC and the TS? W2K or 2003?

Information about the TS CALs that are issued by the TS Licensing
Server is stored in the database on the LS. You can view it there, or
use lsreport from any machine.

317592 - HOW TO: Use the Terminal Services Licensing Reporter Tool
(Lsreport.exe)
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=317592

This is win2k, I don't see the licenses issued to those
who are logging into the member server. Both servers are
in the same domain. Only those who log directly on to the
DC where the licensing server is. This is the issue.

I can see all the people logging in throught the TS
manager, but not the licensing manager.

please let me know if this is normal

Thanks for the reply,
Hope to hear from you
Sam

Have you checked the EventLog on the Terminal Server for Event
1010 (cannot locate license server) and event 1004 (cannot issue
license)?
Can you post the output from lsreport here?

This server is a member server in a domain, I don't see
any of those errors. I will try to install that tool, will
I need to reboot?
